I could never hate Jaime....anymore. Totally loathed him at the start, but now he's awesome and i always looked forward to his chapters. One of my favorite things about GRRM is his ability to compleeeeeetely turn me around on characters! I hated Sansa at first too, and now she's my favorite.

I want you to know I approve of all your Photoshop choices, basically. These are flawless and amazing and wonderful.

First of all, Platonic Life Partners kills me. Seriously, how does that icon even exist? The filter/texture/whatever action going on is splendid and quirky and absolutely perfect. Plus I love your choice of partners. Brilliant. Brilliant. Marvelous. Etc.

Secondly, lol'ing forever at Shirtless Scene. Also Love to Hate because Jamie looks so poncy in that shot and everything so it is perfect.

Other things that are perfect: Ditzy Genius (lighting + simplicity win), Gunslinger (COLORS), and Lady in Red (awww and also the lighting, wow).

AND THEN THE RANDOMS IN WHICH ALL THE SHERLOCK/MOLLY ARE MINE FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER BASICALLY.

I'm glad you like Platonic Life Partners! That one just kind of...came out of nowhere, really. It's a texture by our fabulous tinebrella from I think her most recent batch, but I cubed it down tiny and repeated it. I thought it looked kind of facet-y, like a gem.

I am so excited!!! New icons, and they're all so gorgeous! I'm also super glad that you've gone back to brighter colors. Don't get me wrong - the tones on the last batch were still lovely, but the brighter, more saturated coloring here makes me really happy. It seems that less saturation is in again (or, worse yet, more saturation is an iconning fad and thus legitimately out), and it's heartening to see the trend is not taking hold so entirely, especially here. I have to admit that Rapunzel Hair is probably my favorite because it just looks so pretty, but, at the same time, I don't honestly know what's going on. Gah, your icons make me feel stupid sometimes, but I guess that's why I love them. Not many makers have icons that leave me scratching my head and actually having to think about the artistic meaning and such. I also really like Power Trio and 42. How exactly did 42 end up a reject?

Overall, your text and blending are, once again, flawless. I also like to think that I can see some subtle development in your already lovely lighting.

Anyway, so much word to what Lexy just said. Stop improving so much! You are leaving the rest of us scrambling in your wake to catch up!

There are definitely some less-saturated ones in this batch too, though! Like Anti-Hero and Disappears into Light! Really, I'm stylistically all over the place. It depends a lot on the character, the fandom, and the cap. Sometimes something just looks like it ought to be vibrant (Skins is SO vibrant. Doctor who can go either way, but is often vibrant, Sherlock is DEFINITELY more subtle or monochrome). Lots of makers are still doing vibrant icons, though, so not to worry! raiindust, mm3butterfly, and absolutelybatty come to mind. They're superb!

Sometimes there's really no rhyme, reason, or artistic meaning about what I do XD but I love that you read into it. It certainly makes looking at icons more interesting! Rapunzel Hair is a perfect example. It's Skins, which is usually quite colorful and full of good light and lens flairs and just...artistic camera angles etc. They were in Morocco on summer holidays in that episode, so everything was kind of desert-orange and hot. That's what came out!

42 isn't a reject! Only the 4 under the tables were up for consideration for the 20inspirations batch, the rest are just extra random icons I had laying around ready to be posted. Those 2 Rory icons were made for elitetardis.

Love the coloring of Love To Hate, and the composition of Badass is just gorgeous. Also, the crops of Action Mom & Mind Screw are terrific and I adore the text placement and rotation in Anti Hero <3

ME GUSTA. Rapunzel Hair and The Gunslinger are so colourful and bright. Action Mom and Mind Screw (o m g) is soft and simple. Heterosexual Life Partners is so qt! Love To Hate and Badass use textures so easily. Shirtless Scene is mmmmm XD Love the monochrome and lighting in Ditzy Genius, and Power Trio is so adorable haha!

THESE ARE ALL SO STUNNING! The light use, and the shadow use, and all the freaking colours (from uber colourful to pastel and monochromatic!), everything is so spectacular. Basically, variety is the spice of life and you have it bb! Rapunzel Hair with all it's vibrance and colours is so beautiful, the same with Gunslinger, which has such a stunning crop as well. Love the crop and colour and softness of Lady in Red, and freaking hell your interpretation of Ditzy Genius with the colours and the shadows and everything is spectacular. THIS POST IS FANTASTIC BASICALLY!

Disappears Into Light is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABULOUSNESS. I'm like a zombie: MUST EAT MUTED TONES. SOOOOOOOOOOOO PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!!! You lookin' sexy, man. Work that redness and vibrance, bitch! Badass is so quiet and menacing. She looks like she might murder me if I dare look at her. All the black and the small mirror texture are smart touches that lend true elegance to the piece! WTF is with 25-29? Why are the crops so amazing?
